ASPIRE Students visit Axminster Power Tools Workshop

ASPIRE students visited the Skill Centre at Axminster Tools and Machinery last night for a wood turning workshop with Colwin Way. In just a couple of hours the students learnt how to make a beautiful bowl. Each of the students gave their bowl its own individual style with stripes or a rim, every one was unique.

German Exchange Students Visit Axe Valley Academy

We welcomed our German exchange students and their two teachers from Kirchweyhe near Bremen to Devon and Somerset on Saturday 29th.  So far we have been  fossil hunting on Charmouth Beach with guide Chris Pamplin and exploring Dartmoor with tour guide Alex Graeme. Yesterday the Germans visited River Cottage with Headteacher Mr Green after an amazing welcome assembly at Axe Valley Academy.
