A Christmas Carol
Students enjoyed a festive end to the term with a trip to the Northcott Theatre to see A Christmas Carol. This followed the ASPIRE Drama workshop earlier in the year. Students loved the performance, Head boy James Windsor thought the stage presence of Scrooge was inspirational. He loves to play that sort of character in drama and thought the whole production was fantastic. Head girl, Jess Hill felt that the way they put the music into each scene instead of having a separate orchestra was perfect as it made the score become part of each performance. Thank you to Mr Selby, Mr Perks, Ms Crisp and Mrs Pemberton for their support with the trip. Mr Selby commented that it was a pleasure to take such enthusiastic students along to the show which was engaging and inventive as well as being easy to follow for all the students from the primary school students that attended right through to the Sixth Formers who were looking at the characterisation of the roles.
